1st Screening

This is the first draft of which we have although there is minimal footage we still showed it to the class and got some feedback from them, the feedback of which we recieved was mostly all the same which was that we didn't have enough footage and that the shots are all basically the same. Although we knew all this, the feedback was obviously necerssery and was down to us leaving filming to a later date. Now in the future we know that it is important to get as much footage as soon as possible as it leaves us with much more time to edit.

Shaun did say that this was down to us leaving it to the last minute but also said it would teach us about managing our time effectively. One other critic which we recieved was the use of the white sheet as the background this was not great as we could see the creases in the sheet. Sinead also said it looked a little tacky, which we all agreed with so next time we will be looking to film in the Gallery.

Start of Filming

After school we set up the media staff room as a set for our filming using the white screen as the background and different sets of lights to add the lighting. While doing this Megan and Hayley both directed the shots informing Poppy of the lyrics and what part of the song she was miming to I made sure she was correctly performing the shots as well as filming the shots using a standard DSLR camera and tripod. Although I felt we may of needed a better scenery for the shot we carried on with the filming as this was only rough footage anyway. After finishing we had a bout 20-30 shots although we knew that most of this was not usable anyway we decided it would be enough for the moment.

Feedback On The 1st Draft

The feedback I received from my first attempt was that it was not great and needs a lot of improving, I know this already however I am still getting to grips with using the program Adobe Photoshop so will take some time to get anywhere near a finished product.

1st draft of Digipak

This is my first draft of my digipak although every panel is filled with something it is still not complete. And i have got some feedback from this.

Feedback for the Re-pitch

This feedback is much more positive then the first time we pitched our artist and music video idea, I believe this is because we have put more detail into the presentation itself adding more images and the storyboard/animatics. This all contributed to giving the audience a better understanding.

                                    

The Re-pitch

This is the new presentation that we used during our pitch we took on everything that we got through the feedback sheets and tried to make it work the best it could by making some minor changes.

This is the the Re-pitch:
From watching this you can see what changes we made to the whole pitch, I think this time around the audience as a whole got a better understanding of our actual music video and the artist that we have created. Laxmi and Hayley were both absent due to illness which is why only me and Megan are in this recording.
